Dr. Jerry Yoo completed his graduate studies at UMDNJ and Columbia University, where he obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Master of Science in Physical Therapy degrees.
He is licensed to practice in NY and NJ. Dr. Yoo has also been involved in the fitness and wellness industry for over 10 years, and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
In April of 2007, doctors of physical therapy Jerry Yoo and Taylor Lee officially launched Maven Sports Medicine. As an expert in sport medicine and fitness, Dr. Yoo was responsible for establishing Maven Sports Medicine as one of the fastest growing out-patient rehabilitation facilities in New Jersey. Dr. Yoo specializes in orthopedic, sports, and pediatric physical therapy. He is an adjunct professor for the doctoral program in physical therapy at UMDNJ and has guest lectured at several local high schools for various athletic programs, physical education classes, and community educational workshops. Dr. Yoo is an avid triathlete and has a particular interest in treating injuries related to multi-sport athletics. Dr. Yoo is married to wife, Sunny, and has two beautiful girls, Joselyn and Emilee.
Dr. Taylor Lee completed his graduate studies at MCP Hahnemann University, where he obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Master of Physical Therapy degrees.
He is licensed to practice in NJ. Taylor has been deeply involved in the fitness industry and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
In April of 2007, Taylor Lee and Jerry Yoo officially launched Maven Sports Medicine. As an entrepreneur, Taylor’s understanding of business development/management/marketing has played an integral role in helping to establish Maven Sports Medicine as an exceptional business model. Taylor is actively involved in many community & business organizations. Taylor is married to wife, Christine, and has two beautiful daughters, Isabella and Sofia.
Dr. David Kwon received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from UMDNJ and completed his BS in Exercise Science from Rutgers University.
Dr. Kwon is a candidate for the CSCS examination as well. As a highly competitive former varsity high school wrestler and pole vaulter and a fitness enthusiast, he has varied interests in treating high school/middle school athletes as well as helping the general population with their fitness and wellness needs. Dr. Kwon has had an array of clinical experiences in both the hospital and outpatient orthopedic settings ranging from the adolescent to the geriatric populations. Dr. Kwon is married to wife, Irene.

Scott Wallace completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Ramapo College in 2004 and currently is the Director of Operations of Maven Sports Medicine.
He is an avid motorcyclist, enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking and mountain-biking and leads the “Maven Team” workouts from time to time. His background in sales and project management has contributed to his success at Maven and we look forward to Scott helping Maven grow in the upcoming months and years.
Marisa Rossano has over 7 years of experience in medical office management and CPT and ICD-9 coding. She is completing her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Caldwell College, and will soon be pursuing her Masters in Public Policy and Administration. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, photography, Shakespeare, and true crime novels.
Peter Griffo graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Peter is Maven Sports Medicine’s head physical therapy aide.
Sara Asher is a graduate of Ramapo College, where she majored in Biology and Psychology. Sara has been working as a physical therapy aide for Maven for the past 2 years and will be applying to DPT programs next year.
Patrick Kim completed his undergraduate degree in history at UCLA. He is a physical therapy aide at Maven and will also be applying to DPT programs next year.
Tiffany Lee graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and is currently a second year DPT at UMDNJ. She is also interested in becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the summer of 2010. On her time off, she enjoys playing basketball with her fellow teammates of the NYC Lady Sabres.
Kelli graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelors degree in exercise science and psychology. She is currently a physical therapy aide with Maven and will be applying for her masters in speech language pathology next fall.
